JOB TITLE: Dispatcher & Customs Coordinator 

 

LOCATION: 

This is an on-site position, based out of our Cambridge, ON office. 

 

HOURS OF WORK: 

Monday – Friday – 40 hours a week. 

Occasional after-hours availability to support cross-border shipments and driver rotation transitions. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (BRIEF SUMMARY): 

Reporting to the Logistics Specialist, the Dispatcher & Customs Coordinator is responsible for dispatching company-owned tractors and trailers, managing driver rotations, and ensuring all cross-border shipments comply with customs and regulatory requirements. Primary focus is Canada–U.S. shipments, with occasional Europe-to-Canada imports. The role includes tracking and managing Temporary Importation under Bond (TIB) shipments, ensuring proper closure within one year. This position works closely with Project Managers to plan driver assignments after scheduled home rotations. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Schedules and dispatch tractors and trailers for domestic and cross-border operations. 
  • Manages 21-day on / 7-day off driver rotations and coordinate assignments with Project Managers. 
  • Coordinates directly with customs brokers and internal operations to ensure timely clearance of company-owned equipment through CBSA and CBP, acting as shipper of record. 
  • Tracks and closes TIB shipments within required timelines. 
  • Prepares and manages ACE, ACI, PARS, and PAPS filings; maintain accurate records. 
  • Coordinates customs for Europe-to-Canada imports, ensuring proper documentation and clearance. 
  • Provides regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders; supports audits and compliance reviews. 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 

Education 

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary in logistics or supply chain is preferred. 

Experience 

  • Minimum two years of experience in tractor/trailer dispatching is required. 
  • Experience with Europe-to-Canada imports is preferred. 
  • Ability to manage TIB shipments and bonded imports is preferred. 
  • Project-based operations experience is preferred. 

 

Knowledge/Skills 

  • Knowledge of Canada–U.S. customs processes (CBSA/CBP, ACE, ACI, PARS, PAPS) is required. 
  • Proficiency with dispatch/TMS software and Microsoft Office is required. 
  • Strong planning, coordination, and multitasking abilities. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • High attention to detail, particularly for customs and TIB compliance. 
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.

JOB TITLE: Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Project Manager you will lead the planning and execution of major corrective projects from start to finish. You will coordinate tooling, logistics, field teams, and supplier support to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as the main link between clients and internal teams, you will manage site activities, prepare project requirements, and maintain strong customer relationships. This role is central to driving operational excellence, supporting continuous improvement, and contributing to LiftWerx’s growth in the renewable energy sector.

LOCATION:

This is a hybrid position that includes travel to job sites across Canada and the USA and the ability to work remotely. The expected start date of this position is April 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and manage projects end‑to‑end, including scheduling, scopes of work, tooling, logistics, subcontractors, and day‑to‑day operational coordination.
  • Prepare complete client work packages, ensuring all training records, certifications, personnel qualifications, and safety documentation are accurate and current.
  • Support field teams with staffing, equipment, and daily coordination; conduct site visits and audits; and resolve issues related to personnel, equipment, or client needs.
  • Act as the main communication link for customers, supervisors, and internal teams, providing clear updates and delivering strong customer service throughout each project.
  • Champion a rigorous safety culture, enforcing compliance with site requirements, regulatory standards, and company safety policies while proactively identifying and mitigating hazards.
  • Identify risks and troubleshoot challenges, coordinating technical support, maintenance, or software updates with suppliers to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Manage budgets and procurement, issuing purchase orders, coordinating tooling and subcontractors, reviewing invoices, and tracking project costs and performance.
  • Foster a positive team culture, modeling professionalism and supporting a collaborative, balanced, and engaged work environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Education

  • Wind Energy Technician Diploma or Engineering degree.
  • Class G Driver’s license or equivalent.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in wind energy O&M industry, specifically related to cranes, logistics, wind turbine major corrective repairs, as it relates to Field Work, Operations, and Planning.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Advanced understanding of wind turbine major corrective repairs and up‑tower tooling.
  • Strong competence in project documentation, reporting, and scope management.
  • Knowledge of cranes, lifting systems, logistics, and specialized wind‑energy equipment.
  • Ability to plan and manage scheduling, tooling, subcontractors, and on‑site logistics.
  • Financial literacy (project costs, revenue, expenditures, P&L).

Position Overview and Responsibilities: 

The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for the development and advancement of new technologies by proactively contributing high-impact ideas and innovative designs that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives. This role focuses on continuously improving the safety, efficiency, and overall capabilities of the company’s equipment and processes.  

The Senior Design Engineer oversees and manages complex engineering projects from initial concept through execution, including project planning, conceptual and detailed design, engineering analysis, testing, and validation, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class solutions on schedule and within budget.  

The position requires the exercise of sound engineering judgement and technical authority to verify that all designs meet or exceed applicable standards for safety, reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance. In addition, the Senior Design Engineer provides mentorship, coaching, and technical leadership to junior engineers and co-op students, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, professional growth, and high performance within the engineering team.  

This role also contributes to maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace culture by promoting creativity, accountability, and a strong commitment to excellence. 

This position reports to the Design Engineering Team Lead. 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering.  
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng). 
  • Specific skills related to cranes, welded and formed steel structures, aluminum structures, machining, heavy equipment, hydraulics, electronics and controls, as it relates to engineering and operations are an asset.  
  • Hands on experience working with tools, machinery, heavy equipment, or vehicles, at a professional or hobby level is an asset.   
  • Lean-6Sigma yellow/green/black belt is an asset.  
  • Valid driver’s license (class G or equivalent) and good driving record required. 
  • Possession of a valid passport and ability to travel to job sites across North America on an occasional basis.

We are seeking a Licensed 310T Technician to join our team starting January 2026. This position is ideal for a dependable and skilled technician with a background in heavy truck maintenance and repair. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency with modern diagnostic software and possess strong mechanical skills.

LOCATION:

This position is based out of our Cambridge, ON office from Monday – Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance services.
  • Accurately complete service reports and maintenance records.
  • Travel occasionally to off-site locations as needed.

This is a traveling position.  The successful candidate(s) will travel extensively to worksites across the USA and Canada.  Candidates can be based in either Canada or the continental USA, preferably close to a major airport.

The Crane Operator is a field-based, customer-facing role that performs large corrective repairs on wind turbines. This includes the complete replacement of wind turbine gearboxes, main shafts, generators, and blade bearings.  The Crane Operator will operate telescopic cranes, mainly during wind turbine repairs which involve lifting wind turbine blades, rotors, and generators.  Driving cranes and tractor-trailers between jobs sites is required.  The successful candidate will also be required to perform standard rigging operations, tag lining, and ground work.  The Crane Operator will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 5-15 years of field service experience is required. Previous experience performing crane lifts on wind turbines will be a tremendous asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • American applicants will require an NCCO hoisting license for mobile all-terrain or truck cranes.
  • Canadian applicants will require a 339A hoisting license, based in Ontario.
  • All applicants must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL, Class 1, or AZ).
  • Must be mechanically-inclined, with a solid knowledge of rigging activities, and an ability to troubleshoot in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Must be able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts as business needs dictate, including willingness to work long shifts as required.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 2-5 years of field service experience is required. Previous experience performing operations, maintenance, or corrective repairs on Siemens, General Electric, or Vestas turbines will be a tremendous asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A Liftra CO1+ crane operator’s certificate is valued but it is not necessary.
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools and specialized equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. A commercial truck driver’s license will be an asset, although not absolutely required.
  • Must be able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts as business needs dictate, including willingness to work long shifts as required.
  • Ability to travel and provide service across North America; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 2-5 years of driving and/or rigging experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
