JOB TITLE:

Senior Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for the development and advancement of new technologies by proactively contributing high-impact ideas and innovative designs that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives. This role focuses on continuously improving the safety, efficiency, and overall capabilities of the company’s equipment and processes.  

LOCATION:

This is an on-site position, based out of our Cambridge, ON office. This position is 40 hours of week from Monday – Friday.

On an infrequent basis, the successful candidate will be required to travel to worksites to evaluate work processes, develop new design concepts, and commission new equipment, and oversee load testing activities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Design Engineering Team Lead, the Senior Design Engineer oversees and manages complex engineering projects from initial concept through execution, including project planning, conceptual and detailed design, engineering analysis, testing, and validation, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class solutions are on schedule and within budget.  

The position requires the exercise of sound engineering judgement and technical authority to verify that all designs meet or exceed applicable standards for safety, reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance. In addition, the Senior Design Engineer provides mentorship, coaching, and technical leadership to junior engineers and co-op students, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, professional growth, and high performance within the engineering team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering is required.

  • Lean-6Sigma yellow/green/black belt is an asset.

Experience

  • Minimum five years of experience in related industry.
  • Hands on experience working with tools, machinery, heavy equipment, or vehicles, at a professional or hobby level is an asset.  

Knowledge/Skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership & People Development — Build, coach and develop a high-performing procurement and materials management team; establish goals, accountability, succession planning and employee development.

JOB TITLE: Senior Financial Planning Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in a private equity–sponsored environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and operational efficiency of a rapidly expanding organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, with a particular interest in supporting our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and enhancing downstream financial reporting capabilities. The analyst will work closely with the FP&A Manager and crossfunctional teams to ensure financial data is accuratetimely, and aligned with business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Planning & Forecasting 

  • Refine and support the annual budget, rolling forecast, and longrange planning processes across LiftWerx’s operating teams and corporate functions 
  • Support scenario planning related to weather variability, customer demand, labor availability, and equipment investment, ensuring forecasts reflect the operational realities of LiftWerx’s fieldbased execution model. 
  • Work closely with the ERP implementation team to understand business logic and ensure alignment with FP&A downstream reporting requirements. 
  • Evaluate profitability analysis by team, customer, and service types as well as providing costing & pricing support to the sales group for future bids and new customer contracts. 
  • Ad hoc financial requests from management or board of directors (such as make or buy analysis, NPV/ROI/payback, business case reviews) 

Financial Reporting & Dashboards 

  • Enhance and streamline financial reporting processes by leveraging ERP system capabilities to produce timely, accurate, and relevant financial data. 
  • Develop and maintain both financial and operational dashboards and golden data models that track key performance indicators (KPIs), business performance, and strategic objectives. 
  • Oversee the design and delivery of customized financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with private equity sponsor requirements. 
  • Ensure that financial reports are consistent, accurate, and actionable, supporting decision-making across departments. 
  • Enforce data integrity and support data governance across the organization 

Financial Planning & Analysis 

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis, ensuring alignment with business strategy. 
  • Provide in-depth analysis of financial results, variances, and trends, offering actionable insights to senior management and the private equity sponsor. 
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets, supporting departments with cost control and performance management. 
  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations on profitability improvement and cost optimization. 

Special Projects & Continuous Improvements 

  • Act as a key architect and point of contact for a proposed adaptive planning business planning tool expected to be implemented later in 2026

  • Partner with other functional teams (e.g., Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing) to help support new initiatives and tools implemented to achieve organizational goals

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Education/Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA is considered an asset) 

Experience 

  • 5+ years of FP&A or related financial experience; experience in a private equity–backed or fastpaced, growthoriented environment is a plus. 

Knowledge/Skills 

  • Exposure to ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and interest in system optimization.

  • Drive continuous improvement within the procurement function by identifying cost‑reduction opportunities, improving sourcing strategies, and strengthening vendor partnerships.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Education 

  • Diploma or bachelor’s in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or relevant field.  
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or National Institute of Supply Chain Leadership (NISCL) designation is considered an asset.

Experience

JOB TITLE: Licensed Technician with 339A

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Licensed Technician with 339A to join our team. This position is ideal for a candidate who can confidently operate hoisting equipment while also performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy machinery. 

LOCATION:

This is an on-site position, based out of our Cambridge, ON office. Hours of work are scheduled from Monday – Friday for a 40-hour week.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hoisting Operations: 

  • Operate cranes and hoisting equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with all regulations. 
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition. 
  • Execute lifts according to site plans, load charts, and safety procedures. 
  • Communicate effectively with ground crews and supervisors during lifting operations. 

Mechanical / Maintenance Duties: 

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty equipment (diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems). 
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing. 
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize equipment downtime. 
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Crane Operator (full-time)

LOCATION:

This is a traveling position.  The successful candidate(s) will travel extensively to worksites across the USA and Canada.  Candidates can be based in either Canada or the continental USA, preferably close to a major airport.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Crane Operator is a field-based, customer-facing role that performs large corrective repairs on wind turbines. This includes the complete replacement of wind turbine gearboxes, main shafts, generators, and blade bearings.  The Crane Operator will operate telescopic cranes, mainly during wind turbine repairs which involve lifting wind turbine blades, rotors, and generators.  Driving cranes and tractor-trailers between jobs sites is required.  The successful candidate will also be required to perform standard rigging operations, tag lining, and ground work.  The Crane Operator will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 5-15 years of field service experience is required. Previous experience performing crane lifts on wind turbines will be a tremendous asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • American applicants will require an NCCO hoisting license for mobile all-terrain or truck cranes.
  • Canadian applicants will require a 339A hoisting license, based in Ontario.
  • All applicants must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL, Class 1, or AZ).
  • Must be mechanically-inclined, with a solid knowledge of rigging activities, and an ability to troubleshoot in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Must be able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts as business needs dictate, including willingness to work long shifts as required.
  • Ability to travel and provide service across North America; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Large Corrective Technician (full-time)

LOCATION:

This is a traveling position.  The successful candidate(s) will travel extensively to worksites across the USA and Canada.  Candidates can be based in either Canada or the continental USA, preferably close to a major airport.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Large Corrective Technician (know internally as a LiftWerx Technician) is a field-based, customer-facing role that performs large corrective repairs on wind turbines. This includes the complete replacement of wind turbine gearboxes, pitch bearings, main bearings, generators, yaw drives, and blades. In addition to providing corrective repairs to turbine equipment, the Large Corrective Technician installs, operates, maintains, and mobilizes specialized up-tower lifting devices at customer sites. The successful candidate will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 2-5 years of field service experience is required. Previous experience performing operations, maintenance, or corrective repairs on Siemens, General Electric, or Vestas turbines will be a tremendous asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A Liftra CO1+ crane operator’s certificate is valued but it is not necessary.
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools and specialized equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. A commercial truck driver’s license will be an asset, although not absolutely required.
  • Must be able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts as business needs dictate, including willingness to work long shifts as required.
  • Ability to travel and provide service across North America; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.

The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a condition of employment for this role. Due to the nature of the work and in accordance with workplace safety standards, all team members must wear appropriate PPE while performing job duties.

Due to the hazards associated with climbing a wind turbine and working at heights while using fall protection systems all employee who are required to do so must meet the bona fide occupational requirements as outlined in their job description.  These include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work at heights: Must be able to free-climb ladders to turbine nacelle – up to 140 meters (460ft)
  • Max Weight: 285 lbs, Min Weight: 115 lbs (Max weight with all gear is 300 lbs, Min weight with gear is 130 lbs). Current weight of  approved gear is 15 lbs.
  • Physical fitness: Able to lift 50 lbs ground to waist and 25 lbs wait to shoulder.
  • Confined spaces: Comfortable working in tight, restricted areas.
  • Vision and hearing: Must not have a hearing impairment the prevents employee from receiving critical communication.

Driving / Rigging Specialist

Location:

This is a traveling position.  The successful candidate(s) will travel extensively to worksites across the USA and Canada.  The candidate shall be based in Canada or the continental USA, preferably near a major airport.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

The Driving/Rigging Specialist is a field-based role that works in a team environment assisting in the performance of large corrective repairs on wind turbines. This person will be responsible for driving our highly-specialized equipment to site, setting up the work site, assisting in all rigging activities, and providing ground support for major component replacements. The successful candidate will establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers and peers, as well as diligently performing necessary administrative duties.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 2-5 years of driving and/or rigging experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools and specialized equipment.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License such as AZ driver’s license, Class 1, or equivalent, and good driving record required.
  • Must be able to work well in a team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts including on a rotation schedule, as required.
  • Ability to travel and provide service across North America; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
