JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Account Manager (full-time)

LOCATION:

This position is based out of our Cambridge, ON office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering long-term partnerships built on trust, transparency, and mutual success.
  • Client-Centric Account Planning: Develop and execute customized account strategy that aligns with client’s goals, investment timelines, and operational priorities.
  • Proactive Communication: Maintain regular, structured communication with clients through meetings, site visits, and performance reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.

Procurement Specialist (full-time)

LOCATION:

This position is based out of our Cambridge, ON office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery in alignment with procurement policies
  • Monitor inventory levels and supplier lead times to proactively prevent stockouts and excess inventory, using data-driven insights to optimize stock management
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Health & Safety Manager (full-time)

LOCATION:

This position is based out of our Cambridge, ON office.  The successful candidate will be required to travel to worksites across the USA and Canada.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The EHS Manager within the EHS department is responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist the Head of EHS to coordinate and implement and maintain all aspects of the Liftwerx EHS program in accordance with all applicable legal requirements.
  • Works cooperatively with EHS team members and companywide stakeholders at all levels to promote safe work practice and continually improve safety culture.
  • Ensure health and safety is considered in the performance of all activities; adapting to various work environments and business activity.
  • Act as liaison between field, management, and Head of EHS.

Responsibilities

  • Leads/Supports/Coaches members of the EHS team. Number may fluctuate depending on active teams/business demands.
  • Leads the JHSC and chairs the monthly meeting.
  • Co-Leads/Co-Chairs the monthly All Hands Safety Meeting (with Head of EHS).
  • Assists the Head of EHS with the implementation and maintenance of all elements of the EHS management system.
  • Travels to project sites within North America to visit with field teams to provide 1:1 coaching/incident investigation and auditing
  • Arranges medical assessment/fit testing/monitoring/pre/post incident D&A testing as required.
  • Assists the Head of EHS compliance with applicable legal and other requirements in Canada and the USA.
  • Actively lead and incident communication, investigation, reporting , reflective learning , corrective action, and follow-up and close out of incidents, near misses and safety observations.
  • Responds to and investigates incidents and near misses and safety observations and visits by external agencies in coordination with Supervisor and Project Manager, and EHS team.
  • Is the primary liaison to external safety agencies following incidents or inspections and coordinates response the with the appropriate Supervisor and PM (i.e. OSHA/MOL).
  • Ensure all required regulatory reports are submitted to appropriate agencies. (e.g., OSHA, and Ministry of Labour) in coordination with the Head of EHS.
  • Manages the Early and Safe Return to Work Program in coordination with EHS, HR , the Supervisor and PM (includes claims management and injury reporting requirements).
  • Contributes to the maintenance of the EHS Engagement & Communication plan  in coordination with the Head of EHS.
  • Updates Subcontractor Prequalification systems (Avetta, ISN, Comply Works) as requested by Head of EHS.
  • Maintains & Monitors D&A account & platform (Driver Check).
  • Provide subject matter expertise about EHS to members of the organization upon request.
  • Assists/Leads Safewerx initiatives as delegated by the Head of EHS.
  • Monitors various statistical data and KPIs for EHS to drive continual improvement and works collaboratively with Project Managers to support the achievement of all EHS KPIs
  • Implements and maintains the internal audit program.
  • Represents Liftwerx EHS at external meetings, as required.
  • Other activities/responsibilities as assigned by the Head of EHS

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:       

    • Graduate from both a secondary and a post-secondary institution
    • Post-secondary education in a related discipline preferred or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

    Occupational Certification:

    • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation and/or related i.e., Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or the Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) or National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) would be considered an important asset.
    • Valid driver’s license a must & clean transcript

    Experience:

    • Experience in a supervisory role
    • Heavy construction experience, previous experience related to wind, renewable resources, construction or oil and gas activity preferred
    • Previous experience with WCB/WSIB claims management
    • Experience implementing electronic safety management systems considered an asset

    Knowledge:

    • Extensive knowledge of HSE related legislation, provincial, federal  (Canda) and state (USA – OSHA)
    • In-depth knowledge of various training applications such as Behavioral Based Safety, internal and external audit protocol, and incident investigation and corrective action methodologies.

Crane Operator (full-time)

LOCATION:

This is a traveling position.  The successful candidate(s) will travel extensively to worksites across the USA and Canada.  Candidates can be based in either Canada or the continental USA, preferably close to a major airport.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Crane Operator is a field-based, customer-facing role that performs large corrective repairs on wind turbines. This includes the complete replacement of wind turbine gearboxes, main shafts, generators, and blade bearings.  The Crane Operator will operate telescopic cranes, mainly during wind turbine repairs which involve lifting wind turbine blades, rotors, and generators.  Driving cranes and tractor-trailers between jobs sites is required.  The successful candidate will also be required to perform standard rigging operations, tag lining, and ground work.  The Crane Operator will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 5-15 years of field service experience is required. Previous experience performing crane lifts on wind turbines will be a tremendous asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • American applicants will require an NCCO hoisting license for mobile all-terrain or truck cranes.
  • Canadian applicants will require a 339A hoisting license, based in Ontario.
  • All applicants must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL, Class 1, or AZ).
  • Must be mechanically-inclined, with a solid knowledge of rigging activities, and an ability to troubleshoot in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Must be able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts as business needs dictate, including willingness to work long shifts as required.
  • Ability to travel and provide service across North America; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Large Corrective Technician is a field-based, customer-facing role that performs large corrective repairs on wind turbines. This includes the complete replacement of wind turbine gearboxes, pitch bearings, main bearings, generators, yaw drives, and blades. In addition to providing corrective repairs to turbine equipment, the Large Corrective Technician installs, operates, maintains, and mobilizes specialized up-tower lifting devices at customer sites. The successful candidate will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 2-5 years of field service experience is required. Previous experience performing operations, maintenance, or corrective repairs on Siemens, General Electric, or Vestas turbines will be a tremendous asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A Liftra CO1+ crane operator’s certificate is valued but it is not necessary.
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools and specialized equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. A commercial truck driver’s license will be an asset, although not absolutely required.
  • Must be able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts as business needs dictate, including willingness to work long shifts as required.
  • Ability to travel and provide service across North America; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.

Location:

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

The Driving/Rigging Specialist is a field-based role that works in a team environment assisting in the performance of large corrective repairs on wind turbines. This person will be responsible for driving our highly-specialized equipment to site, setting up the work site, assisting in all rigging activities, and providing ground support for major component replacements. The successful candidate will establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers and peers, as well as diligently performing necessary administrative duties.

This position reports to the Project Manager, with daily project reporting to the Major Corrective Supervisor.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • 2-5 years of driving and/or rigging experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools and specialized equipment.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License such as AZ driver’s license, Class 1, or equivalent, and good driving record required.
  • Must be able to work well in a team setting.
  • Willing to work different shifts including on a rotation schedule, as required.
