Job Description:

Technical Buyer (full-time)

Location: This position is based at our facilities in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing engineered components to support company projects and development. Purchasing scope includes new designs, prototypes, complex fabrications and newly fabricated assets.
  • Ensure procurement processes align with company objectives for cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations, to anticipate and fulfill new equipment needs.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and new product developments to optimize procurement strategies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer with a dotted line to the Engineering Manager.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • 3-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience in sourcing materials for heavy equipment, fabricated steel structures, and mechanical components is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License or equivalent.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and ERP/MRP systems.

Building Maintenance Custodian (full-time)

Location:

This position is based at our facilities in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine custodial duties including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal daily
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and report issues
  • Assist with basic building maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures
  • Handle basic electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs, resetting breakers, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues
  • Collaborate with subcontractors for specialized maintenance tasks and ensure work is completed to standards

Project Manager (full-time)

Location:

This position is based at our facilities in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, but remote work is also possible. The successful candidate(s) will be required to travel to worksites to perform quality audits, manage field staff, and to assist with complex projects. Regular travel to the Cambridge office is also required.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is a customer-facing role that is responsible for day-to-day project management, generally relating to project planning, personnel planning and management, tooling, and logistics to ensure that each project is executed to the highest possible standard. The Project Manager will apply their extensive experience of large corrective repairs to ensure that all projects performed in a safe and cost-effective manner, with the highest degree of quality. The successful candidate will deal extensively and maintain relationships with customers, field personnel, shop staff, engineering personnel, and other office staff.

This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

– 5-10 years of experience in wind energy O&M industry, specifically related to cranes, logistics, wind turbine major corrective repairs, as it relates to Field Work, Operations, and Planning
– Wind Energy Technician Diploma or Engineering degree
– GWO Certified
– Proficient with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Sharepoint)
– Valid driver’s license (class G or equivalent) and good driving record required.
