Job Description: Continuous Improvement and Change Management Specialist (full-time)
Location:
This position is based at our facilities in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Occasional business travel may be required from time to time.
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
The Continuous Improvement and Change Management Specialist is primarily an office-based role that is responsible for the following:
Continuous Improvement:
– Identify and analyze areas for improvement within existing processes.
– Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
– Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
– Provide training and develop Lean / Six Sigma capability within organization.
Change Management:
– Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions during process changes – ex. ERP implementation.
– Develop and execute change management plans, including communication, training, and support strategies.
– Engage with stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for change initiatives.
– Assess and mitigate risks associated with change processes.
ERP Implementation:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute on effective ERP implementation
– Ensure alignment of ERP system with business processes and requirements.
– Provide training and support to end-users during and after ERP implementation.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
– Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
– Prepare and present reports on project progress, outcomes, and ROI.
– Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.
This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, change management and/or ERP implementations.
– Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies is preferred.
– PMP designation an asset
– Valid driver’s license (class G or equivalent) and good driving record required.
– Possession of a valid passport and ability to freely travel between Canada and the United States.
