LiftWerx is proud to announce that it has successfully completed factory testing for its first complete RotorHook™ crane system at the Kenz-Figee facility near Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This three-crane system, comprised of Heli-Hook™, GenHook™, and RotorHook™ cranes, will soon depart for Boulder, Colorado, USA for field testing in cooperation with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.

Our RotorHook™ cranes are specifically-designed for main bearing, main shaft, and rotor exchanges on wind turbines. With a maximum lifting capacity of 75 tonnes, they have a load-moment capacity of over 340 tonne-meters, which is more than triple the lifting capacity of any other up-tower crane currently operating in the market. When mounted on a wind turbine from the Siemens Gamesa 2.X platform, this RotorHook™ crane can lift 66 tonnes at a radius of 5.2 metres (145,000 lbs at a reach of 17 feet). Stay tuned for more updates!
