Job Description:
Warehouse Coordinator (full-time)
Location:
This position is based at our facilities in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Coordinator is a shop-based role that is responsible for supporting other departments and teams, by fulfilling inventory requests, preparing items for distribution or use, and ensuring that equipment remains in good working order in accordance with industry standards.
The Warehouse Coordinator will apply their experience Responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips. The Warehouse Coordinator will also be responsible for optimizing the warehouse layout and processes to improve storage, accessibility, and workflow. The successful candidate will deal extensively and maintain relationships with field personnel, shop staff, engineering personnel, and other office staff.
This position reports to the Procurement Specialist.
Required Education and Experience:
– 2-3 years of broad experience in related industry, specifically related to cranes, logistics, transport, and equipment maintenance, as it relates to Field Work, Operations, and Planning
– High school diploma.
– Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Rigging Experience.
Required Knowledge/Skills
– Equipment documentation and administration, advanced understanding
– Equipment purchasing, advanced understanding
– Steel fabrication, basic understanding
– Tooling for corrective repairs, advanced understanding
– English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
– Strong awareness and understanding of inventory requirements
– Understanding Microsoft programs and business software
– Transport & logistics, basic understanding
– Up-tower crane systems, basic understanding
