Job Description:

Recruiting Manager (full-time)


This position is based at our facilities in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada; however the company will also consider candidates who work remotely.  If the candidate works remotely, travel to Cambridge will be regularly required.  Travel will also be required for recruiting purposes, mainly to visit colleges and career fairs across North America.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

The Recruiting Manager is an office-based role that is responsible for day-to-day recruiting activities, generally relating to researching, soliciting, and hiring high-quality field technicians, drivers, and operators.  The Recruiting Manager will apply industry knowledge and judgement to source new candidates, perform cold calls, assess applications, interview candidates, and finalize employee contracts.  The successful candidate will establish and maintain relationships with various colleges and trade organizations, and will lease internally with management, engineering staff, field personnel, and other office staff.

This position reports to the Vice-President.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in wind energy O&M industry, specifically related to cranes, logistics, wind turbine major corrective repairs, as it relates to Field Work, Operations, and Planning
  • Class G Driver’s license or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Wind Turbine Corrective Repairs, advanced understanding
  • Proficient with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
