Glen, a professional mechanical engineer, has 30 years of experience in the wind energy and heavy-lift industries. Prior to co-founding LiftWerx in early 2016, Glen worked for 23 years in various engineering, sales, and management positions at Mammoet, a global engineered lifting company, with primary activities focused in Canada, the USA, and the Netherlands, while supporting sales, engineering, and innovation activities in Europe, the Middle East, North America, Latin America, and the Far East. While working within this company, Glen mainly focused on growing the business in the power, oil & gas, civil, mining, and marine sectors, with a focus on specialized lifting and heavy transport, and his engineering knowledge and sales initiatives helped grow the Canadian organization from ten employees in the early 1990s to over 1,500 employees, with annual revenues in Canada increasing from $5 million to $600 million over the same period. Glen’s strong experience in lifting and transport engineering, project sales, and innovation have helped to establish LiftWerx as a new specialist in the lifting industry.

Joshua co-founded LiftWerx in 2016 bringing together his expertise in the realms of legal, risk management and general business experience. Joshua holds both an Honours Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. After practicing law, Joshua joined Mammoet, a global leader in the heavy lifting and transportation industry as their in-house counsel. Joshua began, grew and led their in-house legal and risk management divisions within Canada and supported operations in the United States and overseas. He also acted as Safety Director and as an advisor to the Board of Management where, over the past decade, he has advised on complex issues ranging from multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions, complex financing arrangements, first nation agreements, and general business strategy. Joshua brings a depth of knowledge and innovative thinking to LiftWerx that drives both new business development and strategic direction.

Roderik van Seumeren held the position of CEO of Mammoet between 2005 and 2011. Based in the Netherlands, Mammoet is a global leader in the heavy lifting and transportation industry. Under Roderik’s leadership, Mammoet experienced phenomenal growth in both turnover and profitability, a direct result of Roderik’s focus on operational excellence in combination with employee satisfaction. Since 2012, Roderik has held the top management position for the Meemaken Group of Companies, headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Natasja Sesink is an all-around Human Resources strategist. From 1997 until 2008, Natasja was responsible for the Human Resources policy of Mammoet, a global leader in heavy transportation and lifting, and in that position, she facilitated the tremendous growth of the company. Between 2008 and 2012, she participated in various international projects for Greenpeace International, The Nielsen Company, Heineken International, Sara Lee, and DE Masterblenders as an interim Human Resources Director and Project Lead. Since 2012, Natasja has held a key management position for the Meemaken Group of Companies, headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Jeff is a strong operations leader, with a comprehensive background in specialized complex logistics, resource planning, and heavy-lift activities. Prior to joining LiftWerx in 2019, Jeff worked for 25 years at Mammoet, a global leader in the heavy-lift industry. Originally trained as a crane operator, Jeff advanced quickly into one of the company’s most specialized and respected operators, eventually becoming the Operations Director for Mammoet’s sales region in eastern Canada and the northeast USA. Jeff has extensive global experience in high-risk heavy-lift operations, with a strong focus on the energy sector. Jeff’s strong leadership style and operational experience is a tremendous asset to Liftwerx.

Eelko is a mechanical engineer with a passion for transforming technology into business. Prior to joining the Meemaken group of companies, Eelko was been deeply involved in establishing Barge Master, a company which continues to be active in the offshore wind and oil and gas industry. At Barge Master, Eelko developed new technologies and equipment to increase the workability of high-risk offshore operations, and successfully integrated these products into the global offshore energy market. After working as an independent technical manager and consultant in the field of offshore mission equipment, Eelko joined the MeeMaken group of companies in the position of Technical Director. In that role, he is responsible for applying new technologies and developing business for the group.
